Ocasionally you can get it surrounded by both feet, but it usually just maifests its self in one combined at a time...then when 2 joint are affectee at the same time, its usally ones that are close together...such as wrist and elbow...
remember don't stress the joint with gout- the crystals within the joint, if stressed can verbs the cartlidge and break the surrounding bones...
my dad has that right immediately and it usually just happen to 1 foot but you can get it surrounded by both at once

You can have it contained by one foot or the other, both and also in other joint also.
Yes, gout doesn't necessarily present in both foot at the same time. Gout within the feet usually presents itself over the 1st metarsal phalangeal communal (the big toe joint). There are many reason why you can be hit with an episode of gout including but not fixed to drinking too much etoh, eating foods rich surrounded by purines, and stress. You may take some NSAIDs to relieve the misery but dont take aspirin which may manufacture your symptoms worse.
