I had a hyserectomy ending November and asked my Dr. if I would put on extra weight because of it. she said that be not true. I have be putting on alot of weight since after. Has anyone else experienced this?Does have a hysterectomy inflict you to put on extra immensity?
I had a total hysterectomy as okay due to breast cancer (just trying to keep ahead of the cancer) I'm not on any hormones. I own gained roughly 20 lbs since that time...mostly in tummy. My surgery was something like a year ago also.
I had a partial hystorectomy 3.5 years ago and own put on weight. I am also on some medication that cause immensity gain as well. But to be precise when it all started. Hope this help.
A hysterectomy is involves removing your uterus and may also include the removal of your ovaries, fallopian tubes and/or cervix. This procedure will provide permanent nouns from the pain of endometriosis, but will rationale you to be completely infertile. Hysterectomy is only used surrounded by the most severe cases of endometriosis.
You can gain weight from the surgery because your body is no longer producing sex hormones. If you are taking synthetic hormone replacements they can also lead to weight gain. You can ask your doctor in the order of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. It is safer than synthetic and I enjoy not heard of it cause weight gain.
