Do they still estimate that in that will be a bird flu epidemic or is that close to style over?
No offense to other people who answer this cross-examine, but you guys need to read more.
Bird flu epidemic is other present. Even they (CDC) formulate a vaccine to counter fight the virus. It is not really correct to say-so that they totally eliminate the virus.
Bird flu virus is a flexible type that can easily mutate to another type of strain, because of its H&N content.
Thats is the motivation why there is ON and OFF season of bird flu.
It is also misconception that the artificial species only are HUMAN and BIRD. Dog, abandoned boar, or even cow can harbor the virus. Some types of bird are just delivery service of the disease and you cannot see a sign of illness.
You can expect another bird flu epidemic on the close future but on different strain.
CDC is still watching the situation closely, no, the threat from bird flu is by no process "over".
A bird flu epidemic is a constant threat, but not one that most people should verbs about very soon. The people who are most predictable to get bird flu are general public who live and work around birds constantly. Although bird flu is quite mortal, it currently is not transferred from person to soul because it infects the deepest part of the lungs and is not efficiently coughed up.
Researchers are paying close attention to the most common strains of bird flu found surrounded by birds. Their research will hopefully lead to more efficient flu vaccines and treatments that can be used if a bird flu epidemic occurs.
