Does anybody know what LM and TFT contained by blood carrying out tests is please?
TFT is Thyroid Function Tests , usually done as a series of tests for TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone) and for the T3 (Triiodothyronine) and T4 ( Thyroxine), which are the hormones produced by the thyroid gland.
I've not come across LM (and I used to work surrounded by a path lab) probably you mean LH which is for Luteinizing hormone level - used to evaluate your pituitary function, (often done especially in language of fertility issues).
When you see your doctor for the results do not be afraid to ask about the test done and for an explaination of what they mean, most right doctors will explain if you ask
Not sure what LM is.
TFT is thyroid function test
I believe the LM is massive muscle antibody though I can not say positivele, I'd enjoy to dig up my later CBC and Lupus panel tests
I don't know what LM is. It may be a current test as I own been a nurse for 16 years and never hear of it. TFT is to check the function of the thyroid gland. It could be underactive or overactive.
