Causes of Spina Bifida

final in the 80's a friend of mine get pregnant by the same guy that get another woman pregnant-my friend was so engulf in worrying going on for his extreme drug use (shooting up) that she spoke with a doctor around abortion. it was after decided to turn ahead with the unbelievably painful desicion-she abort at 3 weeks. the other woman who was pregnant settled to keep her toddler (daughter). she was born near spida bifida. the doctor assumed the drug use was to blame, however, we suspect both be using drugs. (doubled the chance).
drugs can interfere with sperm nouns. chronic drug use has be known to adaptation the shape of sperm as well as inheritance the sperm holds.
it is rather a 50/50 issue-still inexcusable as solid proof that drugs can cause this adjectives birth defect.
also, my x sister-in-laws first son be born with it and to my skill she did not do drugs. it was next since found out through looking at geneology that there be one known creature in the kith and kin line who be born with spida bifida.
