I use frebreez and a vacuum now. Cats are gone dander isn't. Two cats that lived on couches and trying to achieve as much as I can out. Any helpful tips would be appreciatedDoes anyone know how to cut down on cat dander?
Have the furniture professionally cleaned and consent to them know that you are having problems beside dander, they have special shampoo's they use for this :)
One piece that is agreeable is to get a pet brush and brush their down. It gets adjectives the extra hair bad that would otherwise be left trailing on couches and in the atmosphere.
I have a severe cat allergy and sooner or later my children found a stray kitten and I couldn't say no. I did alot of research and found out that bathing a cat regularly can contribute to adjectives down cat allergies. If you bath a cat from the time they are kittens they win used to it and its not a problem to do it for the remainder of their lives. So I did it..and I never had problems beside allergy. Fortunately the cat got so used to getting baths that she lately sat surrounded by the tub while I bathed her. As you know, cats and water usually don't mix. And it your cats are already grown, bathing them may not be an alternative. But I do think that they formulate a solution that you put on their coats and it accomplishes much alike thing. Also, according to most studies...its not the dander that cause the allergies...its actually the cats saliva that get deposited on their fur from the licking they do.
Get the rolly sticky thingy and roll down your furniture then vacuum close to there's no tommorow, if you feel it's prerequisite and you are desperate roll down your carpet. Mop, wipe, swing the vacuum around your commander to catch floaters.
