I understand nearby is a new trial , that's done w/ an M.R.I. to detect breast cancer, and I was wondering if anyone know how long it takes to do the M.R.I.? It is for elevated risk people , and I hold one scheduled, but wondered how long it take, and do I still need mamograms surrounded by the future?Thank- youDoes anyone know how long it take to hold the brand new trial done w/ an M.R.I.,for detecting breast cancer?
I've have two, and each time they've taken just about forty-five minutes. It's not a painful procedure, but you hold to lie still for the duration, so your arms can go and get stiff from being surrounded by one position. My doc wants me to hold an annual mammogram as well.
Not sure how long an MRI for breast cancer would be, but my son have an abdominal MRI and it took about three hours.
I am not sure excatly how lang the breast MRI take but MRI exams can range anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours.
My wife have a breast imaging MRI done last Aug. The procedure took just about an hour and my wife complained about her disconfort during it. That is adjectives I can tell you in the region of it.
