Does anyone know how pregnancy affects diabetes?

i'm in my overdue 20's and never been pregnant. I've have some retinopothy and minor neuropathy, and i'm wondring if falling pregnant will cause my robustness to suffer. medical books just vote that pregnancy can complicate it, but theyre not specific. does anyone have any 'real' ease or experience?Does anyone know how pregnancy affects diabetes?

It can cause your Diabeties to become worse thus increasing you obligation for insulin and possibly changing your neuropathy and retinapothy for the worst. But if you are past the worst and prepared and get correct prenatal and medical concern you could have no complications at adjectives. It is hard to utter for sure what can happen, but pious medical care and preplanning are the best option.
If you are a diabetic, of 20 yrs & pregnant too, let me let somebody know you that you are in a tricky situation. Your Blood sugar rank will keep rising till you deliver the tot. So it's controle is essential. You have indeterminate whether you are on Insulin or oral antidiabetic medication. Tricky ? You can not afford to take insulin because insulin can produce serious damage to foetus & short insulin you will not be able to controle your blood sugar level. Option you have is controle on food & some oral antidiabetic.
very well you would really have to follow your diet plan. Plus If you are on pills they may hold to sitch you to insulin it depends on how you take meticulousness of yourself really.It probally puts the baby more at risk than yourself.
