Does anyone know what?

eosinophils is? I am trying to get more information on this..My son have blood work done and this eosinophils count was lofty?? Thanks for your helpDoes anyone know what?
I would first ask how dignified they are and if it was confirmed by a almanac differential. It's not that uncommon to see slight elevation in adjectives age patients at some time. Also, hematology instrumentation has it's borders and is an instrument that requires a great deal of safekeeping. Was the blood count performed at the doctors organization? if so, you might want to have a more qualified lab repeat the CBC.
It is a bilobed leuckocyte that make up abour 3% of blood cell. Incresed levels if surrounded by an alergic reaction or during a parisitic invlovement. Usually treated near steroids.
they reflect allergy or parasite infection...or within very special cases it may be an early sign of leukemia.he probably have seasonal allergies (he might have a parasite infection though, so check beside your doctor)...hope he feels better!
