Does anyone enjoy a concern of cold sores?

I know that you can get it accidentally but I really freak out to reason if I kiss a girl who has it will hand over me it!Does anyone enjoy a concern of cold sores?
Nearly 80% of the population has cold sores - you could read aloud you're "abnormal" if you don't have them. They are cause by the herpes virus - generally the HSV1 type. It is more contagious when lesion (cold sores) are present however you can still transmit the virus when no symptoms are present. Oral herpes can also be transmitted to the genitals through oral sex.
I wouldn't worry so much just about getting them given the rate of infection. However if you are still concerned it should be noted that the only approach to be positive that you won't contract it is to abstain from any direct contact with anyone. Most inhabitants who have the virus get it as a child from a parent or relative. Since the virus is contagious even when no symptoms are present abtainence (including no kissing) would be the only method to be sure you don't catch it.
Katie T - freshly wanted to mention that if you've have ONE cold sore then you enjoy herpes. It cannot be cured. I would encourage you to do some follow-up reading on the sites I've mentioned below.

Yes, but ABREVA (available over the counter) works wonders.
yeahh not really a fear..but i mos def dont want one! i estimate i've had ONE earlier..and it hurt like crapp.
but if you see a girl have one..just dont kiss her!
plus, that would be rude of her to kiss you while she have one... its just adjectives courtesy to not let anyone touch your mouth when you own one of those!
